Browse letters
The browse letters section gives you a complete list of documents written in a specific decade, listed chronologically within the decade.
The navigation index on the left-hand side allows you to change the decade you are viewing:
You can change the decade viewed by clicking on the navigation index.
By default, the page opens on the 1700s. Fifteen results are displayed on each page. The total number of records is given above the results, along with an indication of position in the list:

Results are displayed as a list of links to individual letters. Each document is listed by the names of writer and recipient (where applicable), the date it was written and document type (if not a letter):
