I. Staff Changes
Dear Electronic Enlightenment users and Enlightenment enthusiasts. We hope that this update finds you all well in these turbulent times.
We wanted to inform you about some changes in Electronic Enlightenment. Prof Andrew Kahn, FBA, and Professor of Russian Literature, University of Oxford, stepped down from his post as Academic Editor of Electronic Enlightenment in 2023. We would formally like to thank him for his dedication and commitment to scholarly rigour and excellence which made Electronic Enlightenment a better project.
Nicole Pohl, Professor Emeritus at Oxford Brookes, was appointed on 1 February 2024 to succeed Prof Kahn. She is a specialist on eighteenth-century women’s epistolary and social networks in Britain and Europe, and is currently the Editor-in-Chief of another digital project, The Elizabeth Montagu Correspondence Online. She will continue working with Dr Megan Gooch, as Head of the CDS, Dr Jack Orchard, as Content Editor, Mark Rogerson, our Technical Editor, and Judith Siefring, both part of the Digital Collections Discovery, Bodleian Libraries.
Thank you for your continuing support of Electronic Enlightenment and do get in touch with any queries or comments.
